Kick-starting the 60th National Steam Rally

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate at our Street Party and Steam & Vintage Parade on Saturday, August 3rd, the perfect kickoff to this year’s Steam Rally! The evening was alive with incredible energy, from stilt walkers and fire eaters to magical Disney-themed fun on the carnival roadster.

The parade brought vintage magic to the streets, with a spectacular display of steam engines, vintage vehicles, and more, creating memories to last a lifetime.

To everyone who participated, performed, and helped organize, and to the wonderful crowd who made it all so special—thank you for making the evening a true celebration of heritage, community, and fun!

Here’s to more moments like this in the future, and  2025’s Steam & Vintage Parade will again kick-start the 61st National Steam Rally in Stradbally, on Saturday 2nd August, with the main event on Sunday 3rd and Bank Holiday Monday 4th August. See you there!
