Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the https://irishsteam.net/ website (the “Service”) operated by Irish Steam Preservation Society CLG (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Irish Steam Preservation Society CLG and its licensors.
Links To Other Websites
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Irish Steam Preservation Society CLG.
Irish Steam Preservation Society CLG has no control over and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Irish Steam Preservation Society CLG shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
Booking Terms & Conditions
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to your tour/event/experience, while we will make every effort to accommodate you, our staff may refuse you access as it disrupts the tour/event/experience for the other visitors, so please plan out your route to us to allow plenty of time in case of any delays.
Anyone aged under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a participating adult over 18 years. Both the child and adult must be booked prior to the start of the tour/event/experience.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Santa Train Experience Tickets
Santa Train Experience tickets are non-refundable, but tickets can be transferred to a different date up to 2 weeks before the event. Less than 2 weeks to the event, the tickets cannot be changed.
All other tour/event/experience
In order to cancel a booking, you must inform us in writing by email to secretary@irishsteam.net.
Your cancellation must be confirmed as received by us on or before the relevant dates, as set out below. All cancellations and transfers are subject to an administrative fee of 10% of the cost of the tour/event/experience.
If your written request is received more than 48 hours before the tour/event/experience is due to begin, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid, less the administrative fee.
If your written request is received between 24 hours and 48 hours before the event you will be entitled to a 50% refund, less the administrative fee.
If your written request is received within 24 hours before the tour/event/experience, you will not be entitled to a refund for your place.
Cancellations requested after the tour/event/experience has started will not be considered.
Transfer to an alternative tour/event/experience should be requested in writing at least 24 hours before it begins.
Transfer requested less than 24 hours before the event may be declined unless a replacement person can be found for your place prior to the start date.
If you fail to attend a tour/event/experience, no refund will be given, and no transfer request will be accepted.
If a tour/event/experience is cancelled or postponed for reasons for which we are responsible, such as staff illness, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the tour/event/experience to suit the majority of attendees.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are not refundable in any circumstances.
If you cancel a booking and are entitled to a refund, we will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used to pay for your purchase. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days of the day we received your valid notice of cancellation.
